Scope
This notice covers the Snipjoy app and snipjoy.xingkaixin.me product website. It describes the current implementation. The website provides product information and help; it does not accept photo uploads or make stickers online.
Photos and stickers stay locally
The app identifies subjects and generates stickers on your device. It does not upload photos to our servers. Finished stickers, source photos, masks, editing data, albums, and available photo dates and locations are stored in the app’s local data directory. There is no Snipjoy cloud sync, account, or cloud recovery service. System backup inclusion depends on device settings.
Permissions serve specific features
Camera access enables capture. Photo access reads selected images and available metadata; photo saving access enables export. Optional location access records a place during capture and stops when the camera closes or the app enters the background. Motion data drives the holographic tilt effect in the detail view and is not kept as a tracking record. Change permissions in system settings at any time. Stickers can be created without location data.
System services and networking
Some system recognition models may need an initial download. Map backgrounds use Apple Maps network services; Snipjoy does not upload photos or stickers to the map service. System-service requests and data handling follow Apple’s policies.
Copying, sharing, and system stickers
When you initiate copying, export, or sharing, the finished sticker is handed to the selected system feature or receiving app. Exported PNGs do not intentionally include GPS. The system sticker extension reads finished images and an ordering index from a local App Group area, without originals, masks, photo locations, or dates. Removed shared copies are retained for at least a day before cleanup to avoid invalidating files in use. Local deletion does not recall copies already shared.
Website visits
The website uses an Umami script served by umami.xingkaixin.me to measure visits. It sends visit data including page URLs, titles, referrers, browser language, and screen dimensions. The analytics script sets no cookies, and the website collects no forms or photos. The /zh, /en, and /ja URL paths determine the language. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Hosting and analytics services receive technical information such as IP addresses and request URLs to process network requests. The current configuration samples operational logs at 10%. Deletion and retention
Delete stickers and albums in the app. Deleting an album does not delete its stickers. Deleting the app may remove local data, so export important work first. The website has no user accounts and therefore no account-deletion workflow. Website visit statistics are stored by the Umami service. System backups, received copies, and hosting logs are managed by their respective services.
